Beat My Dog

A new collaboration video with bassist Aaron Germain! The sweet silver lining in this quarantine is that though I've never played with Aaron in person, through the interwebs, we can meet and collaborate and create together!

This song "Beat My Dog" is a sassy one written by Jay Leonhart. One of my musical influences when I was young was the great Audra McDonald who recorded this song on one of her early albums! It was a huge thing for me to see someone who looked like me singing and acting on such a high level at that young age!
